Metarhythm built a new website backed by a robust e-commerce application with admin tools that enable Brandaid staff to quickly and easily build an online presence for artisans and their wares. AFS Intercultural Programs Website Content management system Information architecture AFS, a non-profit international exchange organization, needed to decentralize content management to more than 60 country sites, all with a consistent interface and infrastructure. We built a network of multi-lingual websites backed by a CMS that gives each individual country its own secure access, while maintaining central control for common elements. Equinox Fitness Information architecture Mobile application Sales toolkit Equinox needed to coordinate and publish their class schedules across their ever-growing roster of locations nationwide in a way that allowed for effortless printing and downloading by their users. We built an online scheduling tool that automatically generates a PDF-formatted calendar. And, long before the world had heard of iPhone and Android, we built one of the first mobile applications that automatically synchronized updated class schedules with members' Palm OS devices. Picture History Website E-commerce engine Content management system Digital asset management PictureHistory.com is an online archive of images illustrating more than 200 years of American history. We developed this e-commerce site in the late 90s and overhauled the site in 2005 to keep abreast of their increasingly flexible licensing model for digital content. Hosted and maintained by us, the site today features an inventory of over 100,000 historic digital images, and licenses their use for a variety of professional and educational applications. The Gateway School Website Content management system Information architecture An elite private school on Manhattan's Upper West Side, The Gateway School serves high functioning children with learning disabilities. They needed a cost-effective way to communicate to parents and promote the school to prospective families. We reconfigured our existing content management system with special customizations and worked with their design firm to build a site that allows them to spread the word and tell their story, all while staying under budget. Ontario Camps Association Website E-commerce engine Content management system Information architecture A trusted resource for families over 70 years with a roster of over 300 dues-paying member camps, the OCA needed a cost-effective online presence that allowed member camps and affiliates to easily manage their profiles and pay their dues. Our e-commerce + CMS solution has a secure log in for each member, while keeping central control for OCA staff. IBM C-Suite Studies Website Custom charting and graphs Information architecture IBM’s creative agency tasked us with building an interactive interview summary for the IBM CIO Study. Following their design, we built a web-based experience that engages executives and CIOs, and guides their review of the survey results. Each CIO participant receives a custom URL to a secure site, summarizing their individual results alongside a statistical analysis with custom charts, comparing their answers with those of their region, industry, and global peers. GBC Health Website Content management system Information architecture GBCHealth asked us to completely rebuild their website and give them the ability to manage their own content in an intuitive, user- friendly way. We delivered a redesigned web presence with an admin module featuring state of the art “what you see is what you get” content editing tools that allowed even their non-technical staffers to manage website content with minimal assistance, helping to cut their long-term costs. One of our longest-standing clients, we built their e-commerce website in 2000, designing it from the ground up to support both physical book sales as well as electronic content. We built their website with a secure client log-in that allows clients to pay invoices online, manage their accounts, and and share documents across multiple projects. IBM HealthCare Tablet app development Dynamic report development Information architecture IBM's creative agency asked Metarhythm to bring their design to life for a tablet-based tool that guides a conversation with decision makers in the health care industry as they identify key objectives and plot a course to achieving them. We built an iPad app that engages users with an intuitive, gesture-based interface, and stores and tabulates user-responses in real time. Staten Island Ferry Website with touch screen interface Content management system Information architecture As part of the project to transform the St. George Terminal from a drab waiting area to a bright, clean transportation gateway, we were asked to implement the technology for a state of the art information booth and accompanying kiosks. Our touch-screen terminals provide up to date information to 60,000 tourists and commuters daily. Darling Agency Website Content management system Information architecture Darling, home of the brain trust that created MasterCard’s “Priceless”, BP’s “Beyond Petroleum”, Hamilton Beach’s “Good Thinking” and other lasting impressions, is a frequent partner of Metarhythm. When it came time to redo their own website, they came through once again with a bold, fresh approach that says “we listen" and got the industry talking. Ann Taylor Tablet app development Dynamic reporting and user response integration Information architecture Ann, Inc. needed to invigorate and engage participants in a large scale corporate planning and strategy meeting. Working with their digital agency, we built an iPad application that allowed meeting attendees to respond to proposed initiatives and survey questions, with a back-end system that aggregated their responses and presented them on a large projection screen in real time as the meeting unfolded.
